Abstract	Cherdron, Eliza Taylor: Letter to Theodore Debs, 02/13/1917. Says that Theodore Debs is a wonderful brother to Eugene V. Debs. Says that she saw Eugene V. Debs speak a few weeks ago in Chicago, Illinois. Remarks that Eugene V. Debs is the one man everyone loves. Writes that Eugene V. Debs is the greatest American. Says that the audience applauded whenever Karl Liebknecht's name was mentioned. Tells Theodore Debs that A. Stroller Tobuison of the Workers' institute and the Chicago Sunday School in Chicago, Illinois has his only son named after Eugene V. Debs. Says that Robert La Follette has dared to stand alone in regards to the war. Remarks that Robert La Follette is practically a socialist at heart. Says that Victor Berger has not called a mass meeting yet. Writes that her International Sunday School has taken a stand against the war. Writes that she wants a referendum on the war issue. Tells Theodore Debs that Eugene V. Debs's work lives on in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Says that she is one of the only people who has defied Victor Berger to his face. Remarks that many socialists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin beginning to do the same. Mentions that she slapped Victor Berger in the face. Assures Theodore Debs that America will avert war because Woodrow Wilson will have to follow the will of the people.
