Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 01/0719/21. Writes that there is no change in his wife's condition. Says that while his wife's long term memory is fairly good she suffers from a great deal of short term memory loss. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he has heard that Mr. Hays health has deteriorated. Remarks that the only time he met Mr. Hays was when he, Eugene V. Debs, and Hervey Minns visited the strike scene of the strike that came before the one in Ludlow, Colorado. Says that his son will be spending 6 weeks in England speaking with college students. Writes that his son should be able to do a lot of good by speaking to them. Informs Eugene V. Debs that the AFL convention will be meeting in Denver, Colorado on 01/13/1921. Mentions that J. Mahlon Barnes will be there. Remarks that J. Mahlon Barnes made a motion at the AFL convention in 1894 to align the AFL with the Socialist Labor Party. Tells Eugene V. Debs that J. Mahlon Barnes now publishes a paper in Milwaukee, Wisconsin called the MAY DAY. Asks that Eugene V. Debs be of good cheer. Expresses the hope that one day he will be able to meet Eugene V. Debs again in Estes Park, Colorado.
