Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs on Socialist Party of Illinois letterhead, 05/08/1925. Writes that he has been following Eugene V. Debs' tour of the East. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he was happy to hear about the large donation the JEWISH DAILY FORWARD made to the Socialist Party. Says that he is sending Eugene V. Debs some suggestions on how to raise more funds for the Socialist Party. Remarks that the Socialist Party of Illinois is planning fund raising events in East St. Louis, Illinois on 07/04/1925 and in Chicago, Illinois on 08/29/1925. Includes a letter to the Members of the National Executive Committee dated 05/08/1925 saying that he has some suggestions on how best to rebuild the Socialist Party. Writes that the Socialist Party should appoint a Director of Organization as well as 10 field organizers to build up the party's local branches, to secure subscriptions to the party's official paper, the AMERICAN APPEAL, and to do fundraising for a special organization fund. Suggests that George Kirkpatrick should be appointed as the Socialist Party's Director of Organization.
