Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 02/22/1920. Says that she wanted to write to tell Eugene V. Debs how much she enjoyed her visit with him on 12/31/1919. Writes that after she returned from her visit with Eugene V. Debs, A. Mitchell Palmer began his raids. Remarks that she has spent her time since looking after the victims of these raids. Says that she wonders if the New York Assembly will be "stupid" enough to expel 5 assemblymen for being socialists. Tells Eugene V. Debs that if this happens it may just unify the radical movement. Writes that she does not think it will be long before amnesty is declared, especially now that so many "conservative" labor unions have been won over to the cause. Informs Eugene V. Debs that the Socialist Party is completely demoralized in Newark, New Jersey because of the split. Includes a note from Eugene V. Debs to Theodore Debs saying that Weiss is a "loyal comrade." Says that Anita Whitney was convicted on but one count of her indictment. Remarks that the 6 women on the jury were for a full conviction.
