Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs on APPEAL TO REASON letterhead, 06/28/1899. Tells Theodore Debs that he thinks that the Social Democratic Party needs to drop its farmer's plank. Says that there are many socialists who object to it because they think that it is "foolish." Assures Theodore Debs that the farmer's plank will not lead to a large Social Democratic Party vote among the farmers because "if a farmer is a socialist he will know that he needs no special care and will get none until the whole are uplifted." Writes that the Socialist Labor Party will be no more by the end of the year. Mentions that he is sending Theodore Debs 1,000 or 2,000 APPEALS TO REASON for him to do some good with.
