Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 10/30/1921. Says that he wants to send Eugene V. Debs his greetings on the eve before election day. Assures Eugene V. Debs that he has never had the respect and admiration of the American working class more than now because he spoke the truth at a crucial time. Tells Eugene V. Debs that revolutionaries the world over honor Eugene V. Debs because of his courage. Writes that although Eugene V. Debs has won over the hearts of the working classes the Socialist Party's executive committee has not with its repudiation of the Third International. Assures Eugene V. Debs that the Third International is the voice of the world's workers. Remarks that the Socialist Party's platform is out of touch with the world. Says that he is heartened by Eugene V. Debs' willingness to criticize the "reactionary" elements in the Socialist Party. Informs Eugene V. Debs that he will not be voting the socialist ticket this year. Writes that he does not want to vote for a personality but for the principles that he believes in. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he will not be voting another ticket. Says that he has confidence in Eugene V. Debs but not in the official policy of the Socialist Party.
