,
George
Sylvester
1920-10-15
Abstract
Copy
of
letter
to
Warren
Harding
,
10/15/1920
.
Says
that he has been
trying
to
swing
the
German
vote
over
to

.
Writes
that he
trusts
that
Harding
received
the
messages
he
sent
to
James
Cox
and
Franklin
Roosevelt
saying
that he
endorsed
Harding's
candidacy
for
President
because
of his "
fearless
Americanism.
"
Remarks
that he was
shocked
that
Harding
was not
going
to
make
a
differentiation
between
"
political
offenders
" and
common
criminals
" in his
Presidency
.
Tells
Harding
that he
hopes
that he
made
this

of
repression
against
political
offenders
after
the
moment
of

passed
.
Mentions
