Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs on Hotel Conant, Omaha, Nebraska letterhead, 11/02/1920. Writes that today she cast her first vote. Assures Eugene V. Debs that her vote went to him. Says that while Eugene V. Debs is greatly misunderstood that she understands him. Tells Eugene V. Debs that prison bars cannot hold his soul. Writes that Eugene V. Debs' prison cell is a blessing not a curse. Asks that Eugene V. Debs let her know if he needs anything. Says that Eugene V. Debs has a reformer's mind, the "Christ mind." Remarks that Eugene V. Debs' job is to bring peace and joy to the world. Tells Eugene V. Debs that when he gets out of prison the Lord will be with him. Informs Eugene V. Debs that she is not an orthodox Christian.
