Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 03/16/1944. Tells Theodore Debs that he has been recalling some old times. Mentions that he will never forget when Gertrude Debs and Marguerite Debs Cooper came for a visit and Marguerite Debs Cooper saw women smoke for the first time. Says that although penicillin looks like a promising "elixir of life" its medicinal qualities have been discovered too late to help him. Remarks that he fells as though he is near death. Asks that Theodore Debs tell "Roddy" that he is pulling for her. Mentions that he has had contact with Marie Nagh Grossland, Fred Warren, Fred Strickland, and John Lloyd. Informs Theodore Debs that Art Young died at the end of 1943.
