Clabber Girl Museum

The Clabber Girl Museum online collection contains digital images of the displays in the museum as well as photographs of buildings, products and employees from its 150 year history.

The Clabber Girl Museum opened in 2002, and is housed on the first floor of the recently renovated Hulman building at 9th Street and Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Hulman building was built in 1892 by founder Herman Hulman and his sons, to serve the family business, Hulman & Company.

Hulman & Company began in 1850 as a wholesale grocery business and then manufacturer, serving the needs of country stores in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. In 1995 the wholesale grocery business closed, but the manufacture and distribution of Clabber Girl Baking Powder and other food related items continues.
