Vigo County Public Library
The online collection of the Vigo County Public Library consists of archival materials from the Community Archives and Special Collections department. The collection's focus is to document the various historical aspects of Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. Digitized books and pamphlets make up the core of the collection with such items as histories of Vigo County and Terre Haute, pictorial histories, school publications, specialized materials in African-American and women's history, and pamphlets documenting local institutions and organizations. Oral history transcripts, photographs, Civil War letters and transcriptions, and other materials recording the history of the area round out the remainder of the collection.
